OUR BAND

Jazzy sound and always the right beats are provided by:

Jan Falckenberg (drums, percussion)

Raised in Fürstenfeldbruck as the son of an artistic family, Jan has been a musician with heart and soul since the age of 12. In addition to performing with various bands both in Germany and abroad, Jan regularly contributes percussion to studio recordings, providing the perfect driving force.

Primarily at home in jazz, blues, and funk, his particular passion lies in early popular music up to the mid-20th century. When needed, however, a straightforward rock groove also provides the choir with the right foundation.

Besides anything that makes a racket, Jan regularly plays guitar, electric bass, and ukulele.

Konstanze Rupprecht (bass)

Growing up as the daughter of our choir director, Konstanze began playing the cello at the age of five.

She has continuously developed her musical skills since then and is a member of numerous ensembles. During her school years, she learned other instruments, including the electric bass.

She has been studying music education since 2021.

Fabian won first prize in the regional competition organized by Jugend Musiziert and second prize in the national selection for piano accompaniment. For a few years he was a young percussion student at the Munich University of Music. Since 1995 he has been the choir director in changing choirs, from 2001 to 2016 he worked as a répétiteur at the Abraxas Musical Academy in Munich. Since then he has coached numerous singers of various styles. His current sphere of activity includes the piano accompaniment of various gospel choirs, the activity as a percussionist with a focus on stick playing in numerous orchestras and the organ playing in concert and as a substitute in church services. He also privately teaches piano and percussion to students.

Günter Hartmann (sax, flute)

Günther Hartmann discovered his passion for music in early childhood. He began his musical training with the flute before later switching to the saxophone, which became his main instrument. After graduating from high school, he studied to become a teacher at the University of Augsburg, specializing in saxophone. Today, he works as a music and mathematics teacher. In addition to his teaching, Günther Hartmann is an active musician and plays in numerous bands of various genres.

Joachim Bolte (drums, percussion)

From his early youth, Joachim loves it "to hit things" and consequently made his passion into his occupation.

He plays drums and timpani in several cover bands and big bands, as well as in more classical converts.

He also cares about the future of playing drums as a music teacher at 3klang e.V. in Olching.
