Liebe, Du sprachst ein Wort in der Geburt eines Babys,
Du legtest es in eine Krippe auf ein Bett aus Heu.
Du sagtest es jenen Schäfern und Du sagtest es jenen weisen Männern,
Und die Geschichte schlug einen neuen Weg ein an diesem Weihnachtstag.
Liebe, Du sprachst ein Wort am Beginn eines neuen Zeitalters,
Du standest schon ziemlich früh vor dem Sonnenaufgang auf,
